Free admission for:
- EU citizens under 18 years (D.M. 27 giugno 2014 n. 94, “Regolamento recante modifiche al decreto 11 dicembre 1997, n. 507, concernente « Norme per l’istituzione del biglietto di ingresso ai monumenti, musei, gallerie, scavi di antichità, parchi e giardini monumentali dello Stato »” pubblicato sulla G.U. Serie generale n. 149 del 30 giugno 2014)
- non-EU citizens on equal terms (children under 12 must be accompanied)
- EU tourist guides, in possession of a valid license issued by the competent authority
- EU tourist interpreters, when their assistance is required alongside the tourist guides, in possession of a valid license issued by the competent authority
- MiBACT stuff
- I.C.O.M. (International Council of Museums) members
- groups or EU public and private school student groups, accompanied by teachers, by reservation and within a number agreed by the Director
- students of the higher education courses of the Ministry School (Central Institute for Restoration, Precious Stones, School for Restoration of Mosaics)
- teachers and students of degree courses, or postgraduate courses and doctoral researchers of the following faculties:
- architecture, cultural heritage preservation, education sciences or literature and philosophy with an archaeological or historical-artistic address. The same facilities are allowed to faculties and students of the EU faculties or corresponding courses. Free access is allowed to the students by showing the certificate of enrollment for the current academic year, faculty, by showing a valid photo ID
- teachers of art history of Upper Secondary Schools, by showing a valid photo ID
- journalists, by showing a valid proof of professional activity
- EU citizens with disabilities and their family member or other companion
- for study purposes certificated by Schools, Universities, Academies or Researches Italian or International Instituts or Ministry offices, the Director allows a free admission on demand
